Carole Helecia Yeomans

Ms. Carole Helecia Yeomans, age 53, of Macclenny, Florida died Tuesday, Aug. 16, in the Acosta-Rau Center for Caring, Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. She was born in St. Petersburg, Florida and had resided in Macclenny, Florida for over 45 years. She worked as an insurance clerk with Independent Life Insurance Company, Jacksonville, Florida for over 29 years. She enjoyed being with her friends and family and enjoyed going to the beach. She was preceded in death by her late father, James Vester Yeomans, Jr. She is survived by her two daughters, Ashely Alkema and Celeste Bourgois both of Macclenny, Florida: Her son, Jerrod Yeomans of Macclenny, Florida: Her mother, Carol Yeomans of Macclenny, Florida: One sister, Denise (Jimmy) Starling of Sanderson, Florida: Two brothers, James (Patricia) Yeomans of Macclenny, Florida and Jeff Yeomans of Ocala, Florida: One grand- child, Hunter James Alkema. A funeral service to honor the life of Ms. Yeomans will be conducted at 11 A.M. Saturday, Aug. 20, in the New Life Baptist Church, St. George, Georgia with Rev. James Conner, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. George Cemetery, St. George, Georgia. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M.
