Carson Dwaine Meadows

Mr. Carson Dwaine Meadows, age 54 of Jacksonville, Florida died Saturday, June 11, 2016 in the Kindred Hospital, Green Cove Springs, Florida following a long illness.  He had resided in Jacksonville, Florida most of his life.  He worked for Bacardi Rum Company and was a heavy equipment operator with Crowley Marine, Jacksonville, Florida before retiring in 1992 from a disability. He was a graduate of Fernandina Beach High School and enjoyed fishing and boating. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine “Barbie Doll” Meadows of Jacksonville, Florida: Two daughters, Earlyne “Pumpkin” (Tim) Wallace of Jacksonville, Florida and Heather “Shrimp” Meadows of Fernandina Beach, Florida: His parents, Carson and Sivilla Meadows of Fernandina Beach, Florida: his brother, Tim Meadows:Six grandchildren: his niece, Michelle Courtney: and his dog, Sweetie. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Meadows will be held at 11:00A.M. Thursday, June 16, in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev, David Thomas and Rev. Tim Thomas, Pastors of the Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, Florida, officiating.  Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery, White Springs, Florida.
