Derek was such a blessing to be around, always a big 'crooked' smile on his face. Derek will be missed terribly by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him, just an awesome young man. I pray to God for comfort and strength for his family and lil Chole. And I pray for his 'close circle' of young men that loved him and he loved them. Keep the memories close to your hearts. Derek was part of our family, always respectful and kind, fun, loving and always smiling and happy. He was like a nephew to me, son to my brother, big brother to my son Jesse and Granny loved him as one of her own!!! He was there for us all when My Brother Bobby Coker passed!! Our prayers are with ALL of his family, daughter and friends!! We loved him dearly!
