Dorman Webster Clayton, Jr.

Mr. Dorman Webster Clayton, Jr., age 62, of Lake City, Florida died  Wednesday, June 8, in the North Florida Regional Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida following an extended illness.  He born and lived in Lake City, Florida all of his life. He worked for 32 years as a fab shop mechanic with PCS Mining, White Springs, Florida and also was a truck driver with Schneider Tucking for a short period of time.  He was of the Baptist faith and a loving father. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching NASCAR racing with his family on Sunday afternoons. He was preceded in death by his son, James Clayton and his parents,  Dorman Webster Clayton, Sr. and Edna Floried Henley Clayton.  He is survived by his daughter, Lindsey M. Clayton of Lake City, Fla.: His son, Paul Clayton of Lake City, Florida:   Cousins, Danny (Barbara) Witt of Lake City, Fla.,  Sammy (Jennifer) Bene and Diane (Roy) Massey both of Collinsville, Alabama and Mike Henley of Houston, Texas:  His aunt, Louise Bene of Collinsville, Alabama:  A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Clayton will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, June 11, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Tompkins, Pastor of Church on the Way, Lake City, Fla., officiating.  Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, June 10, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
