Gary Spencer Arzie

Mr. Gary Spencer Arzie, age 76, of Sanderson, Florida passed away Sunday, October 2, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. Mr. Arzie was born in Jacksonville, Florida and lived there until he moved to Baker County, Florida 40 years ago. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a retired home builder. Mr. Arzie also loved to hunt and enjoyed salt water fishing. Mr. Arzie is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Leo, Sr. and Lucille Antoinette Arzie. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Ann Arize: one son, Gary Michael (Marji) Arzie of Sanderson, Florida: one daughter, Brenda Arzie of New Orleans, Louisiana: two sisters, Margaret (Harold) McConnell and Robin Arzie both of Jacksonville, Florida. Four grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Arzie will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, October 6, in Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, Florida with Rev. David Thomas and Rev. Tim Thomas officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M (one hour before services). Final disposition will be by cremation.
