Mrs. Helen Willis, age 84, of Macclenny, Florida died Sunday, October 9, 2016. She was born in Willacoochee, Georgia and lived in Jacksonville, Florida and Macclenny, Florida for the past 43 years. She worked as a warehouse manager with I.D.I. Warehouse in Jacksonville, Florida for many years. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed Facebook, Wal-Mart, gardening, country music, dancing and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Carl Willis, Sr., her parents, Gray Martin and Juanita Burkett, two sons, Richard Carl Willis, Jr. and Raymond Byron Willis, two brothers, Carthel and Grady Burkett and a sister, Sylvia Moon. She is survived by her daughter, Carlene (Ronnie) Burden of Glen St. Mary, Florida: one brother, Ray Boles of Hilliard, Florida: One sister, Patsy Boles of Jacksonville, Florida: 13 grandchildren, Richard, Nathan, Lil Carlene, Ronnie, Jr., Greg, Dillon, Dallas, Crystal, Richard, Jr. Jordan, Dawson, Shannon and Regina: numerous great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Willis will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, Oct. 13, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M. (One hour before services).
