Katherine Ann Dennison

Mrs. Katherine Ann Dennison, age 81, of Glen St. Mary, Florida died Wednesday, Jan. 18, at her residence following a long illness.  She was a native of Trimble, Tennessee and had resided in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Glen St. Mary, Florida in 2002. She worked as a secretary with the Jacksonville Ship Yards and Crowley Marine for over 20 years until her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Sanderson, Florida and the last member of a family of 10 children. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and family events.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Nathaniel and Velma Lucille Webb Fitzgerald. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerry L. Dennison of Glen St. Mary, Florida:  Four children, Denise Dennison and Phillip (Amy) Dennison both of Glen St. Mary, Florida,  Sandra Bills of Ponte Vedra, Florida and Mark Dennison of St. Augustine, Florida: Six grandchildren, Ashley, Grant, Amanda, Emily, Brittany and Parker:  one great-grandchild, Brinley also survives. A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Dennison will be held on Friday,  Jan. 27, at 2 P.M. in the Heritage Park Chapel at Heritage Park, Lowder Street, Macclenny, Florida.
