Norma Crews

Norma Lee Crews, age 77, of Glen St. Mary, FL passed away Wednesday, April 6, in the Macclenny Nursing & Rehab Center, Macclenny, FL. Ms. Crews was raised in Baker County and lived in Jacksonville for several years before moving back to Baker County forty years ago. She was a member of the Glen Friendship Tabernacle Church, Glen St. Mary, FL and retired from Prudential Life Insurance Company after 37 years of employment. Ms. Crews loved to fish, garden and enjoyed her animals and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Ruby Lee Crews, and one nephew, Jon Peterson. She is survived by two sisters, Catherine Peterson of Glen St. Mary, FL and Opal (Mark) Phelps of Middleburg, FL: one nephew, Jerald (Debra) Peterson of Glen St. Mary, FL: and one niece Amy (Ronnie) Clayton of Hiram, GA also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Ms. Crews will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, April 9, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, with Rev. Albert Starling, Pastor of her church, officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. (one hour before services). Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Macclenny, FL.
