Rhonda Sue Holton

Ms. Rhonda Sue Holton, age 51, of Glen St. Mary, Florida died Saturday, Feb. 11, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida and had lived in Glen St. Mary for many years before moving to Ft. Myers, Florida and then back to Glen St. Mary, Fla. three years ago. She was trained at a certified nursing assistant and worked for Lee Memorial Health Systems, Ft. Myers, Florida and Northeast Florida State Hospital, Macclenny, Florida before ill health forced her retirement in 2015. She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, Florida and enjoyed fishing, the Georgia Bulldogs, NASCAR racing and the Denver Broncos. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Harvey and Corraine Ryals Holton and five siblings, Lloyd, Laverne, Mildred, Jean and Marvin Lee Holton. She is survived by three children, Jonathan R. Harvey, James Holton and Ambyr Holton all of Glen St. Mary, Florida: Six siblings, Nancy Baker of Wilmer, Alabama, Bill (Debbie) Holton and Linda (Larry) Daniels both of Macclenny, Florida, Minnie (Gerald) Starling of Glen St. Mary, Florida, Harley (Debra) Holton of Sanderson, Florida and Barbara (Buddy) Cox of Taylor, Florida: One grandson, William Rosier also survives. Funeral services to honor the life on Ms. Holton will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday, Feb. 14, in the Christian Fellowship Temple with Rev. David Thomas and Rev. Tim Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Baker County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 11 A. M to 1 P.M. (Two hours before services) at the church.
