Richard Henry Bass, Sr.

Mr. Richard Henry Bass, Sr., age of 63, of Baldwin, FL passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 11, at his home. Mr. Bass was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL and had resided in Baldwin, FL for the last 15 years. He loved to go hunting, enjoyed fishing, and liked to listen to old blue grass music. Mr. Bass is preceded in death by his parents, Hoke and Katie Ricketts Bass. He is survived by his wife, Marjena Bass: one son, Richard (Angie) Bass, Jr. of Orange Park, FL: three step sons, Michael (Krystle) Deen of St. George, GA, Douglas (Karen) Deen of Green Cove Springs, FL and Billy (Tiffany) Kilgore of Glen St. Mary, FL: thirteen grandchildren, Katie, Tyler, Derrick, Kendall, Skylar, Tanner, Lena, Gavin, Miranda, Ashley, Hallie, Chelsea and William: three great grandchildren, Aaliyah Grace, Gage and Aubrey. Three brothers and three sisters also survive. A memorial service to honor the life of Mr. Bass will be held at 12 P.M., Saturday, September 24, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. 90 E., Macclenny, FL.
