Mrs. Alice Fay Sapp, age 78, of Macclenny, FL passed away Monday, April 22nd in Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, Macclenny, FL following a brief illness. Mrs. Alice was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Augustus and Bula Burnsed Moody and resided in Baker County, FL since 1971.She worked as a secretary at the Baker County School Board office and at the Courthouse for Joey Dobson for many years. Mrs. Alice then went to work in medical records at NEFSH until her retirement in 2005. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Temple and loved her children and family. Mrs. Alice is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Derek Sapp and brother, Ronald Moody. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry Sapp: one daughter, Kris Ann Canaday (Frank) of Macclenny, FL: daughter in law, Brandie Sapp of Macclenny, FL: five grandchildren Kriesten, Kendall, Ethan, Brayden and Alexis. Numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Sapp will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, April 26th in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Richardson officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will from 10 to 11 A.M. (one hour before the start of services). Interment will follow the funeral service in Sapp Cemetery, Raiford, FL.
