Marion Flowers Bullard

Ms. Marion Flowers Bullard, age 101, of Baldwin, FL passed away Sunday, April 21st in the UF Health Center of Jacksonville after a brief illness. Ms. Bullard was born in Gainesville, FL to the late William E. and Bessie Green Flowers and resided in Baldwin, FL most of her life. She was a graduate of Baldwin High School, Class of 1940. Following high school, she worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Southern Wood Piedmont, Baldwin, FL until her retirement in 1981. Ms. Bullard was a faithful member of the Baldwin Methodist Church and was a committed servant of the Lord. She enjoyed her Sunday School class and had wonderful relationships with people both young and old within the church. Ms. Bullard lived a life of service to others and during WWII served in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. She loved to bake and was famous for her bread, cookies, candy, and pies. Ms. Bullard is preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, Frank Marion Bullard, Sr., two sisters, Elizabeth Willis and Genevieve Flowers, and great- grandchildren, Brayden Bullard and Selah Keen and many dear friends. She is survived by her three children, Frank Bullard, Jr. (Bonnie) of Hoboken, GA, Donna Keen (Clifford) and Fred Bullard (Diane) both of Bryceville, FL: six grandchildren, Frank Bullard III, Beth Bowers, Amy Geus, Brian Keen, Blake Bullard and Clay Bullard: and 11 precious great-grandchildren. A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life and legacy of Ms. Bullard will be held at 2 P.M., Thursday, April 25th in the Baldwin Methodist Church, Baldwin, FL with Pastor Ike Matthews and Brian Keen officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 to 7 P.M., Wednesday, April 24th at Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. 90 E., Macclenny, FL.
