Mrs. Annie "Ann" Laurie Davis, age 79, of Glen St. Mary, Florida died Monday, July 15, in the St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospice, Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Davis was born in Donaldsonville, Georgia and made her home in Baker County and Glen St. Mary, Florida since 1971. She worked as a teacher’s aide with special education with the Baker County School Board for 27 years. She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church, St. George, Georgia and enjoyed reading the Bible, attending Blue Grass Gospel Jams, her church and the Baker County Council of Aging. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Lee Davis, her parents, John Mercer and Nellie Myrle Maddox Bush and her grandson, Richard Lee Craft. She is survived by two daughters, Dana Craft of Raiford, Florida and Kelly (Clifford) Crews of St. George, Georgia: Three sons, David (Karen) Craft of Valdosta, Georgia, Michael (Angie) Craft of Sarasota, Florida and Troy (Tracy) Ray of Sanderson, Florida; one brother, Joseph Bush of Panama City, Florida; Nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Davis will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, July 20, in the Calvary Baptist Church, Macclenny, Florida with Rev. James Conner and Rev. Donnie Williams officiating. Interment will be in Manntown Cemetery, Glen St. Mary, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M.
