Mr. Bobby Bert Jolly, age 82, of Lake City, Florida died Tuesday, Feb. 13, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Jolly was born in Rockwood, Tennessee and had lived in Lake City, Florida for the past 35 years. He worked most of his life in the logging and timber industry until ill health forced his retirement. He was a member of the North Lake City Church of God and enjoyed fishing, wood carving, gardening and most of all, his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Mable Garrison Jolly and his wife Opal Henry Jolly. He is survived by five children, Billy Jolly and Tommy Jolly both of Rockwood, Tennessee, Leola (Terry) Martin of Carrabelle, Florida, Rose (Bill) Jones of Fort White, Florida and Mary (Jimbo) Williams of Lake City, Florida: Two sisters, Caroline Union of Lake City, Florida and Edith Loy of Avon Park, Florida: Eleven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Jolly will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday, Feb. 15, in the Chapel pf Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Alice Faye Williams of Ft. White Church of God officiating. Interment will be in Williams Cemetery, Lake City, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 2 to 3 P.M. Thursday (One hour before services) at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
