Dannah Marie McCormick

Dannah Marie McCormick, 33, of Pensacola, FL entered into the presence of Jesus on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 while fulfilling her calling and passion to serve others. Dannah was a faithful follower of Jesus, devoted wife, loving mother, beloved daughter and sister, compassionate nurse, and caring friend.

Dannah and her husband Clayton, have served the Pensacola area as Lead Pastors of Central Chapel on Beverly Parkway for nearly 10 years. She faithfully served by Clayton’s side as worship leader, director of children’s ministries, visionary and leader of several major community outreach ministries.

Dannah was a Registered Nurse, employed by Nemours Children’s Specialty Clinic as a Research Coordinator, where she led numerous clinical trial studies for children in the greater Pensacola area. Dannah loved caring for children and is held in the highest esteem by the families that she served as well as her coworkers. In 2009 she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at Florida State University and was enrolled at Jacksonville University to complete her Master of Science Degree in Nursing Leadership.

Dannah felt her greatest accomplishment was being the mother of Camden age 5 and Greyson age 3. They were the love of her life and greatest blessing. She enjoyed their season passes to Walt Disney World (known as "Mickey Mouse’s Castle" to her boys), as well as their visits to their favorite spot to relax and play in the beautiful waters at Opal Beach.

Dannah leaves behind to cherish her memory and honor her legacy her husband of 12 years, Clayton McCormick; sons, Camden and Greyson; parents, Andrew (Sonny) and Renee Staier; siblings, Tim and Kristal Staier, Tabitha and Derek Johnson, and David Staier; Grandmother, Dell Rutherford; Father and Mother In-law, Hyram and Rhonda McCormick; Sister and Brother In-law, Kalyn and James Courson; Clayton’s Grandparents, Earl and Iris Richardson; nieces and nephews, Makenna, Noah, Abigail, Grady, Elijah, Gunnar, and Micah; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The schedule for the Celebration of Life services are as follows:

On Sunday, April 29th, the family will receive friends for visitation at Central Chapel, located at 405 Beverly Pkwy, Pensacola, FL 32505 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM with the Celebration of Life service following at 4:00 PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Faith Chapel Funeral Home-South, Pensacola, FL.

A second service will be held in her hometown of Macclenny, FL at Christian Fellowship Temple, located at 251 W Ohio Ave, Macclenny, FL 32063. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM on Monday, April 30th. The Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 1st at Christian Fellowship Temple. Interment will follow the service at South Prong Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, FL.
