Donald Steven Zarrella, II

Mr. Donald Steven Zarrella, II, age 44 of Jacksonville, FL passed away Monday, January 6 in the Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, FL following a brief illness. Mr. Zarrella was born in Jacksonville, FL but lived most of his life in Baker County, FL before returning to Jacksonville a few years ago. He was a graduate of Baker County High School and attended Jacksonville University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Mr. Zarrella loved music, enjoyed playing his guitar and loved being on stage acting. He was a Star Wars guru and enjoyed movies. Mr. Zarrella is preceded in death by two children, Gabrial and Delaney Zarrella. He is survived by his parents, Donald Steven and Sarah Beasley Zarrella of Sanderson, FL: two sons, Leo and Victor Zarrella, both of Jacksonville, FL: one sister, Elizabeth “Libby” Dunnam (Lee) of Sanderson, FL. Two nieces, Cheyenne and Brittany Dunnam and one nephew, Garrett Dunnam, also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Zarrella will be held at 10 A.M., Thursday, January 9th in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Glen St. Mary, with Father Richard officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, January 8th in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, FL. Interment will immediately follow the funeral services in Olustee Cemetery, Olustee, FL. Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. 90 E. has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
