Evelina Elizabeth Crump

Mrs. Evelina Elizabeth Crump, 77, of Sanderson, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, March 17, 2017 at the Macclenny Nursing and Rehab Center after an extended illness. She was born in Macclenny, Florida on August 17, 1939 to the late James Curtis Phillips and Nancy Elizabeth Moore Phillips. She was a life-long resident of Baker County and devoted housewife. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly and loved to take care of many of the children in and around her neighborhood. She was a member of the Community Full Gospel Church, which she loved dearly; and was a very active lady until recently with her health. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years: William Franklin Crump, brother: Clinton Phillips and seven half-brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughters: Trish (Harold) Taylor of Glen St. Mary, Florida, Flossie (Shane) Thibodeaux of Thomasville, Alabama and Nancy (Scott) Tolleson of Kalispell, Montana; son: Johnathan (Angie) Crump of Maxville; brothers: Raymond (Francis) Phillips of Sanderson, Florida, Aaron (Jody) Phillips of Lakeland, Florida and sister: Adeline (Eddie) Hodges of Macclenny, Florida. Twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends also survive.

Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Crump will be conducted on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11 A.M. in the Community Full Gospel Church with Pastor Tommy Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, March 20, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Guerry Funeral Home, 2659 East Macclenny Ave., Macclenny, FL, 32063.
