Mrs. Geraldine Morgan Vaughn, age 80, of Lake City, Florida died Monday, Nov. 19, in the Lake City Medical Center, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Vaughn was a life long resident of Lake City and worked as a cook in the restaurant business for many years. She was a member of the Long Branch Congregational Methodist Church, White Springs, Florida. She enjoyed fishing as her greatest hobby. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Henry Jenkins and Billy Vaugh and her parents, George W. and Rachel Starling Morgan. She is survived by four daughters, Carol (Henry, Jr.) Kulka of Oldtown, Florida, Inez (Emory) Maples, Joyce (Michael) Killgore and Cindy (Shawn) Reed all of Lake City, Florida: one sister, Essie Mae Ogburn of White Springs, Florida: Nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Vaughn will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, Nov. 21, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Ogburn, Pastor of Watertown Congregational Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery, Hamilton County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida.
