Gladys Irene Sealey

On September 10, 2017, Gladys Irene Sealey, the widow of Lamar F. Sealey of Lake City, Florida went to be with her father in heaven. She was 98 years old. Mrs. Sealey was born in Cairo, Nebraska on July 12, 1919. Mrs. Sealey had lived in Florida since 1966. She lived in Lake City for 44 years and then moved to Bradenton, Florida in 2010 with her daughter, Dina Kinch. Mr. and Mrs. Sealey owned Sealey’s Grocery Store for several years then Mrs. Sealey worked at Walmart for 22 years and retired at the age of 90. Mrs. Sealey was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Lake City, Florida and impacted many lives through her faith and love for Jesus Christ, her Lord. She is survived by her children, Richard and Deborah Hull Breeding of Atlanta, Georgia and Dina Kinch, widow of Stephen Keen, from Bradenton, Florida. She has 5 grandchildren, Brian Keen, Stephen Keen, Megan Kinch, Rene Serrate and Tim Pritchard and 6 great-grandchildren. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Sealey will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, Sept. 23, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Page, Pastor of the Gracepoint Church, Valdosta, Georgia, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Lake City, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 3 P.M. Saturday, Sept. 23, at the funeral home, (Two hours before services).
