Gloria Jean Godwin

Mrs. Gloria Jean Godwin, age 67, of Taylor, FL passed away Wednesday, January 15th in the Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, Macclenny, FL following an extended illness. Mrs. Godwin was a lifelong resident of Baker County, FL and a member of the Taylor Church. She had a long career, spanning over 30 years, in the banking industry. Mrs. Godwin loved her church family and enjoyed singing in church. She was a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Godwin was a proud grandmother and spoiled them whenever she could. She is preceded in death by her father, Lester E. Camp, stepfather, Elgin Fish, daughter, Valerie Godwin, and brothers, Emmett and Glenn Camp. Mrs. Godwin is survived by her husband of 48 years, Roger Godwin: mother, Hazel Fish of Glen St. Mary, FL: son, David Godwin (Tonya) of Taylor, FL: daughters, Melissa Richardson (Bryan) of Sanderson, FL and Tori Crews (BC) of Taylor, FL: sisters, Tammy Fish of Glen St. Mary, FL, Tina Probst of Woodbine, GA, and Darlene Downey of Fernandina Beach, FL: brother, Tommy Fish of Cuyler, FL: six grandchildren, Glenna Kaye Gray (Braden), Gannon Godwin (Bailey), Luke Davis, Titus Richardson, Karis Richardson, Jade Richardson, and LB Crews. One great granddaughter, Brynleigh Belle Gray, also survives. Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Godwin will be held at 2 P.M., Sunday, January 19th in the Taylor Church with Pastor Mark Woods, Pastor Jim Cox and Pastor Bryan Richardson officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Saturday, January 18th at the church. Interment will immediately follow the funeral services in Taylor Cemetery.
