Henry James Conner

Mr. Henry James Conner, age 82, of St. George, Georgia died Wednesday, Oct. 9, in the Folkston Park Care & Rehab Center, Folkston, Georgia following a long illness. Mr. Conner was born in Macclenny, Florida and resided in Baker County for many years before moving to the Moniac area of Georgia over 25 years ago. He was a farmer by trade and loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Bryant Conner and his parents, Lawton and Essie Rhoden Conner. He is survived by three sisters, Susie Marsh of Macclenny, Florida, Gladys Hair and Patsy Groves both of Sanderson, Florida: Two brothers, Virgil Conner and Floyd Conner both of Sanderson, Florida. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Conner will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, Oct. 12, in The Taylor Church, Taylor, Florida with Rev. James Conner officiating. Interment will be in Taylor Cemetery, Taylor, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M.
