Mrs. Irene Brown Dugger, age 96, of Taylor, Florida died Wednesday, Dec. 12, in the Acosta-Rau Center for Caring, Jacksonville, Florida following a brief illness. Mrs. Dugger was born in the Taylor community of Baker County and resided in Jacksonville, Florida for many years before moving back to Baker County in 1979. She worked as a key punch operator with NAPA Auto Parts, Jacksonville, Florida for over 30 years. She was a member of the Woodstock Park Congregational Holiness Church, Jacksonville, Florida. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and was a faithful church member. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Dugger, her parents, George C. and Minnie J. Taylor Dugger. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (David) Nutt of Jacksonville, Florida: Three sons, George (Sharon) Dugger and James (Nancy) Dugger both of Jacksonville, Florida and Gary (Mary Alice) Dugger of Macclenny, Florida: One sister, Ruth (John) Ricker of Jacksonville, Florida: Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Dugger will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Florida District CHC Campground, 7036 East Andrew Street, Glen St. Mary, Florida with Rev. George Dugger, Senior Pastor, officiating and assisted by Rev. David Hodges and Rev. B. Keith Taylor. Interment will be in Taylor Cemetery, Taylor, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, Dec. 14, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME. U.S. 90 east, Macclenny, Florida.
