Mr. James Carroll Stone, Sr. age 56 of Bryceville, Florida passed away on Friday, November 22. Mr. Stone was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and resided in Bryceville most of his life. He graduated from Ed White High School in 1980 and worked as a truck driver. Mr. Stone thoroughly enjoyed fishing and wood work but loved his grandchildren unconditionally. He is survived by his father Carroll (Dixie) Stone and his mother Kay (Paul) Rowe Perry Stone; his two sons, Justin (Danielle) Stone of Bryceville and James (Kelly) Carroll Stone, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida; his daughter Jennifer (Eric) Simoneau of Jacksonville, Florida; Step Children, Dewey (Lissley) Maddox of Callahan, Florida and Rachel (Casen) Crews of Macclenny, Florida; One brother, Charles (Mary) Bruce Stone, Bryceville; One sister, Michele Courtney of Bryceville, Florida; Six grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life or Mr. Stone will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 26, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. 90 E., Macclenny, FL, with Pastor Robert Tucker officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 to 7 P.M., Monday, November 25 at the funeral home. Final disposition will be by cremation.
