Mrs. Jennie Thompson, age 86, of Macclenny, Florida died Sunday, Jan. 14, in the Acosta Rau Center for Caring, Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. She was born in El Paso, Texas and resided in Mission Viejo, Ca. before moving to Macclenny, Florida four years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Mary Anne Catholic Church in California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Euculed Edward Thompson, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Thompson of Macclenny, Florida: Two sons, Euculed E. Thompson, Jr. of Mission Viejo, Ca. and Daniel Keith Thompson of San Clemente, Ca.: Three sisters, Connie Gonzales and Espie Keehmer both of Pico Rivera, Ca. and Tilly Moreles of Rancho, Ca.: Five grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren also survive.
A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Thompson will be held at 5 P.M. Thursday, Feb. 1, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Mr. Ken Cochran, Deacon of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Macclenny, Florida offering a vigil for family and friends.
