Mrs. Jimmie JoAnne Finley, age 68, of Lake City, Florida died Sunday, May 13, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Franklin, Pennsylvania and resided in Tampa, Florida before moving to Lake City, Florida in 2004. She worked as a cashier with Pizza Boy Pizza of Lake City for over five years until ill health forced her retirement. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 2206 of Lake City and enjoyed reading in her spare time. She was preceded in death by daughter, Sammie Jo Bianchi; Father James Turner; Mother and Step Father, Bob and Mildred Ann Beatty Gordon, and great-grandson, Thomas Burdick. She is survived by her husband, James T. “Jim” Finley of Lake City, Florida: One daughter, Darnella "Dee Dee" (Tony) Burdick of Pine City, New York: One son, Mark (Jennifer) Mackey of Fredonia, New York: One sister, Sallea Edkin of Youngsville, Pennsylvania: Three brothers, Fred Turner, Kenneth “Jake” Turner and Ronnie Lee Foster all of Franklin, Pennsylvania: Four grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren also survive. Private burial services will be held at a later date near Franklin, Pennsylvania. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 s.w. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
