Jimmy Wilkerson

Mr. Jimmy Wilkerson, age 67 of Macclenny, Florida passed away Monday, November 20 in the St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside following an extended illness. Mr. Wilkerson was a lifelong resident of Baker County, Florida and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was self-employed and worked as a truck driver for many years. Mr. Wilkerson enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his father, Elisha Junior Wilkerson, son, John Wayne Wilkerson and sister, Shirley Jean Padgett. Mr. Wilkerson is survived by his wife, Dorothy Wilkerson: one son, Jimmy Wayne Wilkerson of Macclenny, Florida: one daughter, Linda Allgeyer (Robert) of Macclenny, Florida: his mother, Jeanette Wilkerson: two sisters, Peggy Newmans (James) and Claudia Crews, both of Macclenny, Florida. Twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Wilkerson will be held at 2 P.M., Friday, December 1 in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Oral Lyons officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M. (one hour before services). Final disposition will be by cremation.
