Johnnie Jackson Raulerson

Mr. Johnnie Jackson Raulerson, age 91, of Macclenny, Florida died Friday, Sept. 28, in the Acosta-Rau Center for Caring, Jacksonville, Florida following a short illness. Mr. Raulerson was born in Moniac, Georgia and had resided in Macclenny, Florida for the past 80 years. He was a farmer and made prize winning produce, such as potatoes, sugar cane, flowers and other forms of vegetables. He attended the New River N.C. Methodist Church, Raiford, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Jay and Mittie Raulerson, daughter, Arvie Elaine Tyson, siblings, Leona P. Nipper, Alice Parker, Roxie Nipper, Joyce Stewart, Jewel Douberly, Lillie Davis, Lester Raulerson and Tommy Raulerson and granddaughter, Beth Lee Anne Mathis: He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Gracie Lee Mikell Raulerson of Macclenny, Florida: One daughter, Catherine Marie “Frosty” Mathis of Lake Butler, Florida: One sister, Betty Jean Boyd of Macclenny, Florida: Three grandchildren, Bobby Giles, Amy LeNez Tyson Randall and Ashley Marie Tyson Davis: Four great-grandchildren, Alana Grace Randall, McKenna Randall, Lilly Giles and John Giles. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Raulerson will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, Oct. 1, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Richardson and Rev. Neil  Griffis officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn  Cemetery, Macclenny, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M.
