Judith Piatt Greene

Ms. Judith “Judy” P. Greene, age 84, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on October 5, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside in Jacksonville, Florida. She was the daughter of the late, Beatrice Piatt, and lived in Macclenny, FL, all of her life. Ms. Greene worked as a computer room supervisor for the State of Florida for 32 years, until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and listening to music. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Macclenny, Florida. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice Piatt; her son, Matt Greene; her grandson, Collin Cernik; and her sister, Fay Davis.

Ms. Greene is survived by her son, Shawn Rouse of Macclenny, FL; two grandchildren, Gabriel Rouse of Jacksonville, FL, and Shelby Greene of Macclenny, FL; one great-granddaughter; and her sister Ms. Ann Tharpe of Macclenny, FL.

A funeral service to honor Ms. Greene will be held on Thursday, October 11, at 11:00 am, at the First Christian Church in Macclenny. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00 am (one hour before the service). Her interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
