Mr. Leonard L. Norman, age 80 of Macclenny, Florida passed away Friday, October 18 at the Acosta Rua Center for Caring, Jacksonville, FL with his family by his side. Mr. Norman was born in Baker County and has lived there his entire life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to play poker. He also enjoyed football and loved the Florida Gators. Mr. Norman worked in the plumbing industry for over 40 years and owned and operated Leonard Norman Plumbing for many years before his retirement. He is preceded in death by his dad, Jake Raulerson and his mother, Lillie Mae Durrance Raulerson and two brothers, Marvin and W.H. Norman. He is survived by his wife, Margie Fraser Norman: three sons, Leonard Norman, Jr., Mark Norman (Lorraine) and Dennis Norman (Tammy) all of Macclenny, FL: one daughter, Audrey Kennedy (John) of Glen St. Mary, FL and one brother, James Norman of Macclenny, FL. Nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Norman will be held at 2 P.M., Tuesday, October 22 in the First Baptist Church of Macclenny with Rev. Albert Starling officiating and assisted by Cliff Barton. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M. (one hour before services). Interment will follow the funeral services in Macedonia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request memorials to be made to Community Hospice, 5450 Ramona Blvd. Jacksonville, FL.
