Mrs. Nellie Gray Holloway, age 81, of Lake City, Florida died Friday, Aug. 4, at her home following a long illness. She was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and resided in Sanibel Island, Florida before moving to Lake City in 1980. She was of the Holiness faith and a homemaker who loved to bake, travel and helping to take care of others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde A. Holloway and her parents, Jimmy Jackson and Ada Hopkins Glover and her siblings, Willis Glover, Clinton Glover, Harold Glover, J.B. Glover, Jimmy Glover, Bobby Glover, Billy Ray Glover and Shirley Mae Skinner.She is survived her daughters, Trudy Kennedy and her husband, Jack Kennedy of Lake City, Florida and Skeeter Stanley of Jasper, Florida: Three sons, Dennis Webb and his wife Chrys Webb and Curt Goff all of Ft. Myers, Fla. and Earl Goff of Lake City, Florida: One sister, Jean Stone of Tampa, Florida: One brother, William T. Glover of Rocky Mount, N.C.: Brother-in-law, Frank Skinner of Saratoga, N.C.: Seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Holloway will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, Aug. 8, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Cheshire of Macclenny, Florida officiating. Interment will be in Siloam Cemetery, Columbia County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, Aug. 7, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
