Phyllis Nora Medeiros

Ms. Phyllis Nora Medeiros, age 96, of Lake City, Florida passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in the Lake City Medical Center.  She was the daughter of Joseph and Amalia Sacco. She was preceded in death by her husband,  Antone Medeiros and her sister, Mary Marini. She was born in Franklin, Massachusetts and lived most of her life in Everett, Massachusetts. She moved to Lake City in 1992 to live with her family. She was a member of the Epiphany Catholic Church. She worked most of her life from a very young age as a seamstress and an embroiderer. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and making quilts at the Columbia County Senior Service enrichment  center.  She is survived by one son, Richard A. Medeiros (Joanne):  Two grandsons, Matthew Medeiros (Johannah) and Travis Medeiros (Ashley) and two great-grandchildren, Kenzie Medeiros and Oliva Medeiros.  Ms. Medeiros will be forwarded to the Weir-Cuish Funeral Home,  144 Salem Street, Malden,  Massachusetts for funeral service and burial on Monday, Feb. 12 in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, Massachusetts.
