Rosella Robinson

Mrs. Rosella Robinson, 87, of Lake City, FL, went to her heavenly home on January 17, 2018. She joins her parents Arthur and Essie Galloway, husband James Paul Robinson, daughter Esther Kennington and son James Earl Robinson, brothers William, Calvin, and Theron Galloway, and her sister Ava Nell Hunter. Mrs. Robinson was born in Pickens, SC. She moved to this area in 1955.

All mothers should be like our mother; this world would be a better place. She loved the Lord and trusted in Him completely. She was a member of the High Springs Church of God.

She is survived by daughters Tina (Bill) Bennett and Cynthia (Michael) Robinson; son Edward “Rock” Robinson; brothers Alger (Margaret) Galloway, Rudolph (Linda) Galloway, and Kenneth (Lena) Galloway; sister-in-law Christine (Bobby) Joiner; brother-in-law H. H. Hunter. Grandchildren surviving include Melissa Kennington, Christopher (Kim) Bennett, Ashley (Ida) Bennett, Michele McCauley, Melinda Kennington, Fariel (Robin) Kennington Jr., Darrell (Jessica) Kennington, Olivia Robinson, Shannon Robinson, Rocky Robinson, Mandy Robinson, Felicity Bryant, and Phillip Robinson. Along with the grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren, and many very special nieces and nephews in the Carolinas also survive.

Services will be held at Guerry Funeral Home on Hwy 41 South, on Saturday, January 20, at 3:00 pm with the family visitation at 2:00pm on hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery.
