Sharon Ann Robinson

Mrs. Sharon Ann Robinson, age 73, Glen St. Mary, FL passed away Wednesday, March 8 in the St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL following a brief illness. Mrs. Robinson was born in Grand Rapids, MI and lived in Dexter, MI and Macclenny, FL before she moved to Glen St. Mary, FL fifteen years ago. She worked as a CNA at the Northeast Florida State Hospital, Macclenny, FL for ten years and attended the Road to Calvary Church, Glen St. Mary, FL. Mrs. Robinson enjoyed her puppies, horseback riding, and was a member of the Rodeo Riding Club and loved riding in the annual Christmas parade. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Margaret Ashley Carlson. Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband, Roger Eugene Robinson, Sr.: three sons, Wesley (Carol) Thomas of Jacksonville, FL, Stan Lee Thomas of Macclenny, FL, and Gerald Thomas of Jacksonville, FL: one step-son, Roger E. Robinson, Jr. of Glen St. Mary, FL: one daughter, Marlo Thomas Scott of Macclenny, FL: two step- daughters, Bobbie Dyal and Jean Robinson, both of Macclenny, FL: one sister, Jean Wright of Colorado. Seventeen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Robinson will be held at 11 A.M., Monday, March 13, in The Road to Calvary Church, Glen St. Mary, FL with Rev. Tommy Anderson, Pastor, officiating and assisted by Rev. Albert Starling. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. (one hour before services) at the church.
