Tere Gay Lagle

Ms. Tere G. Lagle, age 69, of Macclenny, FL passed away Wednesday, May 10, in the St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL following a brief illness. Ms. Lagle had been a resident of Baker County, FL for over 40 years after moving from Jacksonville, FL. Ms. Lagle served in the United States Navy for 3 years and loved to spend time with her family. She also enjoyed bowling, gardening and loved animals. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer F. and Virginia Stewart Hervey. Ms. Lagle is survived by two sons, Michael Lagle (Keri) of Glen St. Mary, FL and James D. Lagle (Victoria) of Destin, FL: one daughter, Melisa Davis (Roger) of Glen St. Mary, FL: one brother, Douglas Hervey of Vietnam: one sister, Tina Murphy of Denver, CO: eight grandchildren, Ashley Harris, Brandon Smith, Jacob Lagle, Morgan Lagle, Laigan Lagle, MaLeigh Lagle, Madison Lagle, and Mia Lagle: four great grandchildren, Nathan Harris, Caden Harris, Alaynah Harris and Braelynn Harris also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Ms. Lagle will be held Monday, May 15 at 1 P.M. in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, FL with Rev. Tim Alford officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be held from 11 to 1 P.M. (two hours before services). Final disposition will be by cremation.
