Mrs. Vannessa Rhoden, age 61, of Glen St. Mary, Florida died Tuesday, Dec. 25, at her home following an extended illness. Mrs. Rhoden was born in Sanderson, Florida, and resided all of her life in Baker County, Florida. Mrs. Rhoden was a homemaker who loved spending time with and taking care of her family. She enjoyed making artificial floral arrangements, loving on her grandchildren, and being with her dog, Jake. She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church, Macclenny, Florida and loved gospel blue grass music. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Milton M. and Delois D. Oralls and one sister, Myra L. Williams. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Rhoden of Glen St. Mary, Florida: one son, Kenneth (Judith) Harvey: one daughter, Stephanie (David) Olyphant of Rome, Maine: one Step-Daughter, Rachel (Brian) Weeks of Macclenny, Florida: one brother, Milton D. (Elaine) Oralls of Macclenny, Florida: three sisters, Cheryl Oralls of Glen St. Mary, Florida, Holly Merrett of St. George, Georgia, and Kyra (Samuel) Lindsey of Glen St. Mary, Florida: five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Rhoden will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, Dec. 28, at Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, Florida, with Pastor David Thomas officiating. Interment will be in South Prong Cemetery, Sanderson, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, Dec. 27, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME. U.S. 90 east, Macclenny, Florida.
