Mr. Warren E. Davis, age 75 of Macclenny, FL passed away September 12, in the Acosta Rua Center for Caring, Jacksonville, FL following an extended illness. Mr. Davis was born in Atlanta, GA and lived in Arizona before moving to Baker County, FL over a year ago. Mr. Davis held a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and worked as a physical plant director, Department of Corrections for the State of Alabama. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery and loved his late dog, Mammy. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Windell and Opal Hinesley Davis, one sister, Tracey Collins and one great granddaughter, Jessi Kimsey. He is survived by his first wife and mother of his children, Rose Davis Dufour of Carrollton, GA: second wife, Joan Davis of Illinois: two sons, Warren Eldridge Davis, Jr. (Leigh) of Macclenny, FL and Ian Wendell Davis (Karen) of Carrollton, GA: one daughter, Eva Lesley Donne (Geoffrey) of Los Angeles, CA: two sisters, Maxine Bush ( Jerry) of Carrollton, GA and Wendy Quattlebaum (Jim) of Ocala, FL: three grandchildren, Elise Crawford (Randall), Laurel Davis and Heather Kimsey.
