William Homer Fouche

Mr. William H. “Buddy” Fouche, 80, of Sanderson, Florida went to be with the Lord Thursday, Novh. 23, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Fouche was born in Waycross, Georgia to the late Homer and Lugenia Fouche. Mr. Fouche worked as a master carpenter for 35 years in Palm Beach, Florida. Other accomplishments, were completed courses in blueprint reading (1966) and A & C refrigeration (1993). He also loved working with his hands and the smell of fresh cut wood. Mr. Fouche was a member of the First Baptist Church, Macclenny, Florida and a former member of the Haverhill Baptist Church, West Palm Beach, Fla., where he was a deacon, chairman of the sound committee, chairman of the grounds committee, the church bus driver and a Webelos scout leader. He was also the leader of a gospel band where he played in churches and nursing homes around West Palm Beach. He married the love of his life, Patricia, who just celebrated their 55th anniversary. He was a loving husband, a provider and teacher who loved Jesus Christ. He is also survived by his children, William (Barbara), David (Donna) and Melissa: Grandchildren, Kristen(Dustin), James (Elizabeth), Nathan and Noah: Great-grandchildren, Gracie, Danielle, Aleah and Tyler: Step-great-grandchildren, Oscar and Oliver: He is also survived by a sister, Merita Odum, two nieces (Alaska), an aunt, Faye Fouche (Alabama), two brother-in-laws, Bevis White (Georgia) of Yulee, Fla. and James White (Dot) of Sanderson, Florida. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Fouche will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, Nov. 26, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Dr. Edsel Bone, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Macclenny, Florida, officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 2 to 3 P.M. Sunday (One hour before services) at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U. S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, Dec. 1, in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, West Palm Beach, Florida with Rev. Michael Moore, Pastor of Havenhill Baptist Church, officiating. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, Macclenny, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
