Mrs. Annie Laura Futch, age 88, of Macclenny, FL passed away Tuesday, October 13th in the St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL following an extended illness. Mrs. Futch was born in Madison, FL to the late Bryant Joshua and Annie Green Allen. She was a resident of Baker County, FL since 1973 and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Macclenny. Mrs. Futch was a member of the church choir, served on the kitchen staff for Wednesday night suppers and was active in church activities. She is preceded in death by her parents, late husband, Thomas Dugger Futch and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Futch is survived by one son, Thomas Wayne Futch of Macclenny, FL: one daughter, Patricia Ann Duggan of Macclenny, FL: one grandchild, Ashley Duggan (Josh) of Macclenny, FL and one great grandchild, Marlee Shanahan of Macclenny, FL. Many nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Futch will be held at 3 P.M., Sunday, October 18th in the Chapel of GUERRY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation and gathering with the family will be held from 2 to 3 P.M. (one hour prior to services). A private burial will be held in Macedonia Cemetery.
