Bernice Inez Canaday

Ms. Bernice Inez Canaday (Babee), age 89, of Macclenny, FL passed away Tuesday, July 4th at her home. Ms. Bernice was born in Taylor, FL to the late John and Inez Taylor Godwin and was a lifelong resident of Baker County. She was a homemaker and cherished spending time with her family. Ms. Bernice had a servant’s heart and was a devoted member of Taylor Church. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Milledge “Bo” Canaday, son, Mitch Canaday and sister, Sharon McCook. Ms. Bernice is survived by one son: Mike Canaday (Betty), two daughters: Kelly Woods (Mark) and Kari Anderson (Timmy): sisters, Carolyn Linster and Ann Howe. Eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great- grandchildren also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Ms. Canaday will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, July 8th in Taylor Church with Rev. Mark Woods and Pastor Louis Parker officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. (one hour prior to services).
