Mrs. Bernice O. Crosby, age 95, of Macclenny, Florida died Friday, Nov. 6, in the Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, Macclenny, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Crosby was born in Blackshear, Georgia and lived in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Macclenny, Florida 20 years ago. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Florida. Mrs. Crosby loved the Lord, and made it her mission in life to witness and pass out tracks for the Lord to everyone she came in contact with. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Crosby and her parents, John Silas and Millie Conner Osteen. She is survived by her children, Gerald (Mary) Crosby of Jacksonville, Florida, Barbara (Eddie) Polisknowski of Tampa, Florida, Carol (Billy) Crockett and Wayne (Sylvia) Crosby both of Macclenny, Florida and Becky (Don) Howell of Glen St. Mary, Florida: One sister, Ann Vera Meyers of Waycross, Georgia: 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Crosby will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, Nov. 11, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, Florida. Interment will be in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville, Florida. Visitation and gathering with family will be from 10 to 11 A.M.
