Mrs. Betty Jean Peters, age 89, of Sanderson, Florida passed away Saturday, Aug. 27, in the Florida Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Peters was born in Jacksonville, Florida and resided in Sanderson, Florida all of her life. She was a home maker and widow of the late Marshall Blaine Peters. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, was an avid Florida State Seminole fan and loved her family. She is survived by six children, Paul (Lora) Raulerson of Lake City, Florida, Kathy Evans of Sanderson, Florida, Millie Raulerson of Palatka, Florida, Danny (Vicki) Raulerson of Sanderson, Florida, Robin (Wade) Chapman of Jacksonville, Florida and Robert Raulerson of Sanderson, Florida; one brothers, Elic Beasley of Orange Park, Florida; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Peters will be held at 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, Aug. 31, in The Cedar Creek Church, Sanderson, Florida with Rev. Jim Cox officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Sanderson, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 11 to 11:30 A.M. (30 minutes before services) at the church.
