Billy Ray Register

Mr. Billy Ray Register, age 69, of Sanderson, FL passed away Sunday, March 20th in the St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospital, following a brief illness. Mr. Register was born in Jacksonville, FL and lived many years in Louisiana before returning back to Baker County, FL in 2012. He was a physician and was employed with the State of Louisiana for 23 years and worked at The Villas Nursing Home in Louisiana until his retirement. Mr. Register loved animals, especially his dog, Esther. He also enjoyed farming and traveling. Mr. Register is preceded in death by his father, Tommie Ray Register. He is survived by his loving mother, Imogene Dopson Register and numerous cousins and friends. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Register will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, March 23rd in Christian Fellowship Temple with Pastors David and Timmy Thomas officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. (one hour before services) at the church.
