Mrs. Laura D. “Bonnie” Harris, age 86, of Baldwin, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 18, in the St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospice, Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Harris was born in the Baxter community of Baker County and lived in Jacksonville before moving to Baldwin, Florida 53 years ago. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Baldwin, Florida. She enjoyed traveling, working in her flowers and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Elezia Starling Raulerson and nine siblings. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Tommy Harris of Baldwin, Florida; her four children, Rick (Carmen) Harris of Tampa, Florida, Danny Harris of Baldwin, Florida, Judy (David) Rucker of Tampa, Florida and Laurie (Lee) Boothe of Macclenny, Florida; two brothers, Jimmy Raulerson of Vancouver, Washington and Randy Raulerson of Carson City, Washington; nine grandchildren, Amy, David, Jesse, Michael, Daniel, Josh, Zack, Ricky and Kaleb; 10 great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Harris will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, April 22, in the First Baptist Church, Baldwin, Florida with Rev. Chris Drum, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in North Prong Cemetery, Baker County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, April 21, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida.
