Bryan Patrick Friar

Bryan was born on December 13, 1971 and died on Friday September 3, 2021 in a car accident at Horseshoe Beach. Bryan was loved by many. He was a caring, loving, and kind person that was always willing to help others even if that meant he would do without. Bryan was born and raised in Lake City, Fl and attended Parkview Baptist Church throughout his childhood. Growing up he played baseball all the way through his childhood and at CHS high school along with being a member on the wrestling team. Bryan played softball as a young adult. Not many people, except those close to him, knew he was also an amazing piano player. Bryan’s love for Baseball was strong but not as strong as his love for Fishing and Hunting. Every chance he got he was on the water or in the woods hunting. Bryan was the oldest of his siblings Katie and Tara. Bryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Julia Owens McCrary, Elvis Owens, John B. Friar, Christine Friar, Minne “Peggy” Ballard, and Henry W. Ballard, two Uncles Johnny Friar, and Bobby Friar and one aunt Sharon Kay Ballard. Bryan was survived by his children Brock (Jessie) Friar of Lake City, Bryce Friar of Lake City, and Danica Friar of High Springs. Bryan had one grandchild, Benjamin Patrick Friar. Parents Billy and Anna Friar, two sisters Katie Friar (Greg Brooker) of Lake City/ Gainesville Fl, and Tara Friar Smith (Mike) of Tampa Fl. Niece- Lace Smith, Nephews- Billy Jacob Friar, Zane Smith and Camden Harrison. Along with Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. A memorial service will be held at Guerry Funeral Home on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 5:00 P.M. officiated by Zack Douglas. Visitation with family and friends will be at 3:00 P.M.
