Carl Eugene Wilkinson, Sr.

Mr. Carl Eugene "Caleb" Wilkinson, Sr., age 84, of Wellborn, Florida died Tuesday, April 12, at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Wilkinson was born in Lawtey, Florida and resided in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Wellborn, Florida 24 years ago. He owned Wilkinson Auto Repair in Jacksonville, Florida for over 40 years until his retirement. He was of the Messianic Jewish faith and loved working on old automobiles, fishing and salt water crabbing. He was preceded in death by his parents, George D. and Gladys Norman Wilkinson. He is survived by his wife, Judithanne Wilkinson of Wellborn, Florida; one son, Gene (Shelly) Wilkinson, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida; his daughter, Debra Sowell; two step-sons,, Lester (Sandra) Rouse of Alma, Georgia and Ron (Stefanie) Bottino of Old Lyme, CT.; two grandchikdren also survive, Jason Erwin and Rebecca Terona and two step-grandchildren, Chrissy and Haley. A graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Wilkinson will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, April 20, in the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home which will include Mr. David Green speaking a eulogy for Mr. Wilkinson. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
