Courtney M Crews

Mrs. Courtney McGuire Crews, age 42, of Macclenny, Florida passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on the afternoon of October 22nd, 2021. Courtney was born on the 4th of July in 1979 in Birmingham, Alabama. Her parents, James Robert McGuire (Connie) and Paula Trull Moore (Don) loved her and raised her to be a strong, caring and intelligent woman. She was loved by many. Courtney was a beautiful person with a creative mind, but most importantly she was always the best mother to her three children. Courtney moved with her mother to Orange Park, Florida and graduated from Orange Park High School in 1997. She later married and moved to Macclenny, Florida in June of 2000 where she lived with her husband and three children. Courtney is survived by her husband of 21 years, Jerry Michael “Mike” Crews and her three children, Bailey Elizabeth Pisani (Chase) Griffis, Mackenzie Chase Crews and Colby  Michael Crews; Courtney was also survived by her siblings, Christopher Adam (Tina) of Titusville, Fla., Kyle Smith of Sarasota, Fla., Jordan Kaleb Smith (Catherine) of Prattsville, Alabama; two sister-in-laws that she loved like sisters she never had, Jodi Lynn  Hurst (David) of Ocala, Florida and Jeanie Marie Pratt of Jacksonville, Florida. She had many loving grandparents, aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends as well, along with her father-in-law, Jerry Crews (Brenda) and mother-in-law Marilyn Stover. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Crews will be held at 11 A. M Wednesday, Oct. 27, in the First Baptist Church of Macclenny, Florida with Rev. Elmer Crews, Pastor of Celebration Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Baker County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at the church. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME,  U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
