Mr. David Bruce Richardson, age 70, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Friday, July 22, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. Mr. Richardson was born in DeFuniak Springs, Florida and had resided in Lake City, Florida for the past 40 years. He worked as a road supervisor with the Florida Department of Transportation for many years. He was a member of the Lake City Moose Lodge and enjoyed fishing, singing and playing his guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents, James A. and Martha Enfinger Richardson, Sr. He is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Robert) Richardson and Julie Ann (Thomas) Sharpnack both of Lake City, Florida; one brother, Terry Richardson of Sebring, Florida; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Richardson will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, July 26, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Ogburn, Pastor of Watertown Congregational Methodist Church, officiating. Final disposition will be by cremation. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 9 to 10 A.M.
