Mr. David Ray Wilkinson age 67, of Bryceville, FL, a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend passed away on August 19, 2021 with his wife and daughters by his side. David was born on May 3, 1954 in Lakeland, FL and then moved to Jacksonville as a young child where he resided until he met the love of his life in 1977. They have spent the last 44 years in Bryceville living in the beautiful home David built. He retired 5 years ago from the steel mill in Baldwin, FL and was a member of The First Baptist Church of Maxville. David enjoyed fishing, wood working, wildlife photography and taking road trips to the mountains to visit his favorite place, Cades Cove. He is survived by his wife, Lucia Rosemarie Wilkinson; his two daughters, Davina (Michael) Christy and Devin (Christopher) Nieman; brother, Dale (Lynda) Wilkinson; nephew, Ryan Wilkinson: grandchildren, Victoria and Brayden Christy and Pierce David Nieman; several cousins and many friends. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Wilbur and Iris Wilkinson. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Wilkinson will be held at 2 P.M., Thursday, August 26th in the First Baptist Church of Maxville with Rev. Richard Fish, Pastor, officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, August 25th in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral services in Long Branch Cemetery.
