Mrs. Dona Lee Pearce Wheeler, age 84, of Glen St. Mary, Florida died Thursday, July 8, at her residence following a long illness. She was born in Lulu, Florida and lived in Macclenny, Florida for 56 years before moving to Glen St. Mary, Florida in 2009. She was the owner of Donna Wheeler Mobile Home Park, Macclenny, Florida for over 40 years and also other real estate units. She loved her flowers, pecan trees, fruit trees and also enjoyed reading. She was the daughter of the late Mann and Carmel C. Griffis Pearce. She is survived by six children, Janis (Ivan Skorik) Manning of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Judy Ullo of Jacksonville, Florida, Wanda (Ron) Burk of Glen St. Mary, Florida, Donna (Sammy) Thornton of Raiford, Florida, Eldridge (Regina) Wheeler of Cuyler, Florida and John (Felicia) Wheeler of Macclenny, Florida: one sister, Dorothy Ann Dunn of Glen St. Mary, Florida: two brothers, Wayne Pearce of Glen St. Mary, Florida and Jack Pearce of Sanderson, Florida: eight grandchildren, Danny, Joey, Bo, Les, Michael, Christian, Ashley and Brandon: two great-grandchildren, Joey and Bee: one great-great-grandson, Colton. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Wheeler will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, July 11, in the Arise Judah Church, 50 West Minnesota Avenue, Macclenny, Florida with Rev. Eddie Griffis officiating and assisted by Rev. Tommy Anderson. Interment will be in South Prong Cemetery, Sanderson, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M.
