Mrs. Donna Faye Stafford, age 65, of Macclenny, Florida died Saturday, Nov. 13, at her home following an extended illness. Mrs. Stafford was born in Jacksonville, Florida and resided in Maxville, Florida before moving to Macclenny, Florida 30 years ago. She worked as clerk of finance with the Baker County Clerk of Courts for over 40 years until ill health forced her retirement in 2020. She was a member of The Taylor Church, Taylor, Florida and loved to shop and play with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd “Babe” Rhoden. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ray Stafford of Macclenny, Fla.; her daughter, Cateena M. Stafford of Sanderson, Florida; three sons, Brandon R. (Crystal) Stafford of Atlanta, Georgia, Cary S. (Shelley) Lawler of Macclenny, Florida and Cody S. (Brittany) Stafford of Glen St. Mary, Florida; her mother, Elsie Barber of Maxville, Florida; two sisters, Beverly A. Shuman of Jacksonville, Florida and Jackie L. Green of St. George, Georgia; three brothers, Jerry C. Rhoden of Baldwin, Florida, Larry D. Rhoden and Charles E. Rhoden both of Maxville, Florida; nine grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Stafford will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, Nov. 16, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Woods, Pastor of The Taylor Church, officiating. Interment will be in South Prong Cemetery, Sanderson, Florida.
